May Meeting, Hoedown and Tag Sale Recap
At our General Members Monthly Meeting May 20, we once again enjoyed a sumptuous dinner and dessert provided by Pete at the Croton Colonial Diner. Thank you, Pete!
Lisa and Alida Ragazzo were inducted by Don into the Lions Club as new members sponsored by Vic. Both of these ladies were instrumental in the huge success of our booth at the Hoedown, pictured above. Welcome Lisa and Alida!
Discussion ensued regarding planning for the raffle, Croton Summerfest table, Scholarship Awards/Installation Dinner (members only), and August Sunset Barbecue. More details regarding these events can be found in our events pages.
We will also be sprucing up our medical equipment trailer and Christmas tree sale trailer.
Hoedown
The winner of the Jelly Bean Count at the Hoedown was Cooper from Brooklyn! He won a $25 gift card to the Black Cow. The total # of jelly beans in the jar was 674. Cooper guessed 666, just 8 jelly beans off! Thanks to everyone for participating. (PS - We’ll have a new jar with items to count at the Croton Summerfest, June 1, for a chance to win another prize.)
A BIG THANK YOU to the following Croton businesses who donated items for our prize wheel at the Hoedown. Their support of what we do is really appreciated!

Tag Sale
The two-day Spring Tag Sale made less than in 2024. Attendance was down, possibly due to other spring events happening on the same day. If the village holds a tag sale in the Fall, we may piggyback on that. Otherwise, we may discontinue this event.
