Mark Murray Inducted

Mark Murray, our newest member, was inducted into the Croton Lions at our Feb. 17 monthly meeting. He was sponsored by Vic Conte and inducted by Don Daubney.

Asked why he was interested in the Lions Club, this was his response.

“Now in retirement, I have been wanting to offer my services to a organization dedicated to doing good deeds for a local community. Wherever I travel I always seem to run into literature or signs promoting Lions Clubs. By doing a little online research I was incredibly impressed with the number of selfless people who volunteer their time and energy into fundraising activities for local charities. Over 1.4 million members worldwide! The Lions Club must be doing something right to attract so many members. I look forward to making my own contribution to the organization.”
