Croton Lions Club 2025 Fundraising Appeal
The Croton Lions Club has proudly served the village of Croton on Hudson for 86 years. This could not have been done without the support of the community that is our home. We are profoundly grateful for this support and are asking for your help again to continue our work for the community.
Our mission is to create and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of the world. We promote the principles of good government and good citizenship by taking an active interest in the civic, cultural, social, and moral welfare of the community. Some of these include:
Lending medical equipment to residents at no charge
Providing over $500,000 in scholarships to CHHS students, since 1939
Collecting used eyeglasses for recycling to those in need
Fundraising for support of local charities like BluePath Service Dogs
Participating in village events e.g., Summerfest, Fall Festival, and Croton Caring Committee
Aiding our residents by contributing to the Croton Free Library, Recreation Dept., Police, Fire Dept., EMS, Harry Chapin Run and many others
Providing relief through our Local Disaster Initiative as well as worldwide to communities in need through Lions Clubs International
All our funding comes from the generosity of community members like you, and by supporting the annual Christmas tree sale, our largest fundraiser. All funds go to support the various charities we assist. Any donation, large or small, is appreciated.
“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” W. Churchill
